This series consists of one register recording applications for water rights in the Darwin District. [District B] The different types of water rights authorised include washing area water rights, stream water rights [SWR], watershed water rights [WSWR], dam water rights [DWR], tank water rights [TWR], pipe track water rights [PTWR] and subterranean water rights. The register records the total number of shares, the date of application and registration, the class of holding - in this case water right, the area applied for, the area surveyed and the date of the survey, registration fee and rent, survey fee, locality and description of boundaries, date certificate issued, registered shareholder details, details of transfers, details of encumbrances, exemptions and rent.
